Anani Linnea
Once upon a time Anani a little nature~ girl who believed in the magic of life, adapted cheerfully to her family's meanderings by creating communities of children wherever she went. The children produced neighborhood plays, built communities in the woods from downed logs, crafted, created magical gardens and held innocently secret clubs in attics and basements.

Anani is a self-awakened artist, the kind of artist where all the rules can be broken, to allow for the new and different that brings joy and upliftment to the world. Her favorite mediums are charcoal drawing, textiles, mixed medium/collage, and painting, and she is ready to explore almost anything.
Her most recent professional activity was Director of Classes at the Woodlands Art League. She led a very successful nine week art camp, summer 2012. 130 families participated! |
Anani is a Mary Poppins of sorts, although not the stiffness and pomp, but the spontaneity, readiness for adventure, and cheerful 'anything is possible' spirit! She has served children wherever she has lived. Ecuador, Bolivia, India, New York, Houston , Spain and Morocco and The Woodlands, TX.
|
Anani is also the author
of herself-published spiritual autobiography called "The Journey of the Jewel" 2010 about her three year stay at the southern tip of Spain and the Moroccan Sahara. It was a journey of Trust. |
Her inventiveness serves her well:
She set up Halloween under tents in rice fields... Helped create an international school in India from scratch... Explored with Andalucian women their dreams to create... Introduced drawing to nomadic Berber families with the simplest of implements. Taught Spanish in HISD using art and music. Won her kindergartner's hearts and was voted Teacher of the Year. |

Art becomes a very necessary part.
Creating is activating a whole half of our brain! By creating we begin to flow with life. Come up with alternative solutions which turn out to be harmonius and bring joy. Through art, much can be resolved. If we can just let go of 'control' and 'TRUST'! that whatever is ours will be brought to us in perfect timing. |
The Journey of Anani's... is revealing of the journeys of many young and old. As a teenager she was ostrasized. In college she doubted her own abilities . In fact she thought she couldn't write and experienced dark depression when research paper deadlines approached.
In her thirties, she experienced deep anxiety and panic attacks, until the day she discovered more about herself. She is a very sensitive being, as should be. There was nothing 'wrong' with her. In fact much of the emotion she was feeling, she was empathing. It wasn't even her own. She then began sorting out all the emotional input. What was hers, what she was picking up in her surroundings. And realized that these signals were valuable input. A link to her intuition, which became the most valuable part of her growth. Intuitive information helps guide us to the wisest choices. What messages are to be received and which are to be discarded. She conquered old beliefs...such as 'I'm not the One' 'I get passed over' 'I'm not important' 'I don't matter' 'I'm not beautiful enough' 'No one listens' 'I must be in the wrong place!' by replacing them with new affirmations spoken outloud daily. It takes 40 consecutive days. She became her best friend! Began listening to her inner guidance. Following her path. And to be lighthearted no matter what the 'seeming' of life is. |
